Mike Lee Signs for 2026

The Kentucky Barrels are pleased to announce the signing of Mike Lee to their 2026 roster!

Lee brings valuable arena football experience, having most recently played as a defensive back for the Albany Firebirds in Arena Football One. During his time with the Firebirds, Lee stood out in the secondary, contributing with timely interceptions and strong coverage play. Notably, he returned interceptions for touchdowns and forced turnovers in big moments. His performance earned attention league-wide and made him one of the more reliable defenders in AF1. 

Lee’s knowledge of the arena game, quick instincts, and ball skills will offer the Barrels a boost in the defensive backfield as the team works to build identity in its inaugural season. His familiarity with high-speed, high-scoring environments gives Kentucky confidence in his ability to make impact plays under pressure.
