Joe Golden Signs for 2026

The Kentucky Barrels are excited to announce the signing of Joe Golden for the 2026 season!

Golden joins Kentucky after a strong showing in Arena Football One (AF1), where he built a reputation as one of the league’s most consistent and high-impact defensive players. 

Known for his relentless motor and physical style of play, Golden was a key contributor for the Southwest Kansas Storm, where he helped anchor one of the toughest defensive fronts in arena football. His experience and success at the professional arena level bring valuable leadership and intensity to Kentucky’s defensive unit. 

Golden’s work ethic, toughness, and ability to create pressure up front make him a major addition as the Barrels prepare for their inaugural season.
